| Hmmm...I'm giving him a chance. He better hope he can get it right, though. | |

Nahh, they were all bad. Mike Huckabee was okay. Didn't get anywhere though. Agreed, I was more on the Nider side... but still I didn't think he could do much more than any of the others. (Or much less.)

Perhaps, but which president was the one who actually kept their promises?

Perhaps, but which president was the one who actually kept their promises? This makes me sick. It's been what? almost a y ear in office? Let me see you undo eight years of dumbass republican, in one year. Any one would be lucky to do this in two terms, much less one year..

| You can bash, but I don't think Obama would have done any different if he were in that position. Who knows. He's got his chance, though. Let's hope he doesn't screw it up. Off-topic. Locked. | |

| Hate to double-post, but I have to point out my excitement. I just saw PD's signature, and now I remember what Cogito Ergo Sum means! (Obviously, I didn't retain anything I learned in my two years of Latin...) I think, therefore, I am. Is that Descartes? | |

Is that Descartes? Sweet. You got my favorite quote correct. I think it is, but you ought to do your homework on it before you believe what I just said.

| I found the way the quote was used funny. (To my understanding) The quote was used to show the government that they think to highly of themselves? If not then please correct me. | |

If not then please correct me. Possibly, but that's not how I learned it. I learned it as a simple observation. Descartes attempted to understand everything he could experience by doubting everything. He believed that the first step to understanding was to remove all preconceived notions. So, he doubted everything. He discovered, however, that by doubting and thinking, he proved the existence of himself. He wouldn't be able to think if he didn't exist. He then developed the phrase, Cogito Ergo Sum, to explain his observation.
